Day 4 Reflection by Valery

EQ1. Why is it important for Singapore to invest in Vietnam?

Vietnam is a developing country with lots of land to spare. The town areas are congested, such as District 1 and 7 while the other districts were either flat land or lengths of grassy land. This huge abundance of land is the land that Singapore never had. It is important for Singapore to invest in Vietnam because Vietnam has the resources that Singapore does not have and Singapore can help Vietnam open its market to the rest of the world, such as top industries in the US, etc.

EQ2. How Singapore influences Vietnam.

The designs of the buildings in the VSIP in Vietnam consists mainly of the designs of our everyday HDB flats back home in Singapore. Singapore influences the urban planning in Vietnam, like the factories and housing.
