Day 4 Reflections by He Shiying


EQ1. Why is it important for Singapore to invest in Vietnam?
Land in abundant in Vietnam. It is important for both countries to develop a strong partnership so as to improve living in both countries. For example, when Singapore assists Vietnam in the design and planning of architecture, Vietnam assists Singapore in the manufacturing day-to-day products such as food packets and furniture. Since Vietnam is a developing country, and with its abundance of land, it can develop into a highly modern country. And partial credit will go to Singapore, and improves Singapore's 'portfolio' and also new opportunities to work with other countries. With a strong relationship, Vietnam may also be a country that may help Singapore in times of need. 

EQ2. How does Singapore influences Vietnam?
The high-rise buildings in Singapore has had a huge influence in Vietnam. Much land in rural areas which were once marshlands or fields are replaced with high rise buildings and offices.
