Why is it important for Singapore to invest in Vietnam?
Vietnam is currently developing, an important process for the country. Singapore, playing a part to help design the parts that are to be modernized, for example the Singapore Vietnam Vocational Training College, will benefit in the future as there will be gain in the projects that Vietnam is going through. It is a win-win situation for both countries. Singapore will also be known to those visiting Vietnam, other countries will know about Singapore’s “abilities” in design.
How does Singapore influence Vietnam?
Vietnam has taken to the idea of building moderately tall buildings as well as modern and large shopping centers. As shown in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park [VSIP], Vietnam is working on the concept applied in Singapore, where an area has entertainment, workplace, residential areas and institutions to the convenience of people in the new area. There is a distinct difference between traditional Vietnam and the projects being worked on, as well as a visible similarity with similarity, when it comes to urban planning and construction. A good example would be the Vivo City that is being constructed in Vietnam now.
