It is important for both countries to have a strong relationship as this would help both countries to develop and improve the conditions of life. This would also help both countries economically. One example of this is the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, where there are many international factories that produce various goods more cheaply because of the cheap labour that is available. Thus, this helps as it provides goods for both countries, as well as different parts of the world.
EQ 2. How does Singapore influence Vietnam?
Singapore has helped Vietnam in its urban planning, to help to distribute its growing population. There have been various areas planned based on the concept: work, live, play and learn. They have been transformed from marshland to areas with buildings: homes, offices and schools. The areas look similar to the urban and town planning of Singapore because of Singapore's big influence on Vietnam.
