It is important for Singapore to invest in Vietnam because Singapore does not have much land for development, but Vietnam has a lot of undeveloped land, and also cheap labour. Both parties will be able to benefit. Singapore will be able to construct factories in Vietnam and Singapore will benefit because it will have a higher income, while Vietnam will have more factories and investors.
